Time for a visit to Flying J!
A bright afternoon day, very bright!
When we stop at a Flying J during the day, it always seems like we're coming home. This is a mid-afternoon stop, for fuel and propane. And pictures of trucks.
Here are Carol's beloved trucks! Lined up just for her.
And here is Carol's beloved husband, taking care of business!
And, here is Carol, taking pictures of trucks! That's her business!
Michael's getting propane for the RV. That's something we need!
Can you tell how BRIGHT it is???
Carol thought they were "home",
especially when their mail truck appeared!
especially when their mail truck appeared!
Wait! Stop! Don't you have any mail for us???
Here's what Carol wrote while riding in the truck:
About 40 miles east of El Paso we pulled into a Flying J. Carol felt like ET--- "HOME!". It seemed like we were home; Carol even thought that was our mail truck delivering our mail. The mind plays funny tricks on you when you're weary! Anyway, Carol got her hot tea, they fueled up and got propane. Well, Michael fueled up, etc. Carol took pictures of trucks. Of course!
Carol LOVES the trucks! Especially purple ones. ;). And can you yell how bright the sun was? Not that bright in Richmond this time of year. Carol didn't even help with the driving today. It's not good for Michael to drive all the time, and no nap today or anything for him. So much for early start and decent breaks! And, Carol's mighty contribution to driving!!!

I love the brightly colored trucks, too!
