Yay! We're heading in the right direction!
TEXAS BORDER
We crossed the Texas border at about 1:45 pm. YAY! It's still very bright and sunny. We hope to get to Dallas before the commuter traffic gets too bad. We plan to stop at a Flying J tonight (afternoon) and get on the road to Big Spring early in the morning. It's only about 5 hours from Dallas. In Big Spring we'll get the truck and trailer inspected (they have to be inspected in separate places, one for RVs and the other for trucks and cars. You know how it is. We have to do that within 48 hours of arriving in Texas.

We arrived at 4:15 and went straight for the diesel pumps!
We've found a good place to park for the night. Just had to level the trailer from side to side.
It's snack time for the Pink Panther socks! Then they might be up for a walk around the truck stop. They enjoy seeing all the trucks and being in the midst of the activity! Maybe that's why they have so many eyes!
Michael is very careful; he checks everything and is very much on top of things!
