A DAY OF R&R IN EL PASO
We have a nice spot and this is a lovely, clean, spacious campground!
Late afternoon sun creates long shadows
Surrounded by mountains
Lunch with Kelsey and Tim
We had a great visit with this special young couple,
Tina's daughter and her husband, stationed here as a
platoon leader in the U.S. Army.
Michael took this wonderful shot of the full moon!
Next day, January 8
We're pulling out right now, at dawn,
so we can get to Tucson early this afternoon.
To bed with the chickens,
up with the chickens!

I love the jokes - you have a wonderful sense of humor!!! Great pictures and fun comments! I now know what to get you for Christmas!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Irene! I couldn't resist the gorilla, I waited a LONG time for the right spot for that image! And it really reflected how i felt. I appreciate your commenting on the blog. It gets lonely otherwise, one-way blog. :) Cake? You're getting me CAKE for Christmas???? haha.
ReplyDeleteMaybe she's getting you socks for Christmas???
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're getting closer to Tucson! Yay! Closer to Tucson is closer to Phoenix!!!! By the way, our chickens never go to sleep. The roosters cock-a-doodle-doo in the middle of the night. Michael, that moon picture is wonderful! I LOVE it!
Maybe they don't sleep because it's too light? Yes, you have the noisiest roosters i've ever heard!!!
