A PERFECT START TO THE DAY!
Michael got our coffee, as usual! Here he is; I was still buried under the covers, of course!
AND, fortunately, I hopped right up and got ready for the road, motivated by my hot coffee. Was I ever glad! At 7:30 am, as we were getting ready to hit the road, our Panera group called us on Face Time! I told them I was turning on the back camera because I didn't want them to see my truckstop hairdo. They said, "Truckstop hairdo! What is THAT?" So, I told them about burrowing under the covers at night and the static electricity, etc.
Later, when we stopped at a rest stop, I took a picture of my "truckstop hair" on my iPhone camera, in the bathroom mirror. I don't think I looked too bad! Do you?
Michael was sitting in his chair, which was behind the closed glides, and when I pointed the camera at him, the group immediately identified it as his "man cave". Haha. Actually this picture is from the night before, when we were winding up our day.
I showed them around the trailer, it was kind of messy! Jim suggested I pan more slowly--- I think it was all a blur and was making them dizzy, too.
Here is how we wound down after supper the night before. Michael in his man cave, eating pumpkin yogurt, and me on my laptop. Not my iPad. Not my iPhone. My laptop!
So, back to the morning and getting on the road.
See you on the highway. "Keep it between the ditches!!!"

ReplyDeleteHi Carol,
I’m really enjoying all your pictures, funny comments, video clips, etc. I thought your morning hair was pretty good – you should see mine!!! It’s wonderful to be keeping up with you. Unfortunately, my computer is not letting me comment – it freezes up and I have to close the site – too bad!!! Anyway, I’m still looking and will make comments by email if it continues to be a problem. I couldn’t get in to read your response to my last post but that’s ok! Love and miss you! Irene.
Thanks, Jocelyn. That's encouraging! Thanks for commenting. What server are you using to post your comments, etc? Any problems?
ReplyDeleteIrene, I'm having trouble with this, also. Internet Explorer lets me do some things and not others, it won't let me view or write comments. Mozilla Firefox lets me do comments and I can upload more than one image at a time. But it's lousy for text. So, i have to use both!!! But Internet Explorer does not red-line typing errors. What a pain, using two, but it's working. I'll paste your comments into the blog so others can enjoy and share. Others have told me they are unable to post comments also. You used to be able to. i wonder what happened! :(
Mom, your hair always looks great! Michael is so sweet for bringing you coffee. You both take really good care of each other ♥
ReplyDeleteMichael's the BEST!
