Richmond to Phoenix, Day 9, Part 2 Big Spring State Park

We are still enjoying Big Spring State Park.

See, I told you we took lots of pictures of each other, too! 

Michael is enjoying the sun!
I liked the light and shadow playing over him and the stones of the pavilion.

Windy?  And I thought "Truck Stop Hair" was bad!!!

The park is much more interesting than this GPS image of it!

We enjoyed bringing a little color into the desert landscape.  Nice contrast!

It was a very nice trail!  Uphill trail.

  But it went downhill on the way back, you know?

Here's that image of the Fina oil refinery I promised you!  Lovely at dusk. :)

And that ends our stay in Big Spring.

 

Tomorrow we plan to get on the road to El Paso.
